The yearly growth rate goal for the ELME partner companies has been set at 10%. This growth is enabled by anticipating future equipment and machinery requirements and constantly renewing and improving the technological environment.

 

THE METAL INDUSTRY NEEDS PROFESSIONALS

One of the most important goals for ELME is to ensure that there are enough metal professionals in the area and with sufficient educational opportunities. Training and learning environments are modernised and improved to match the needs of the fast-changing business environment. The entrepreneurial spirit is important for the teachers as well as the students. Without a shared vision, there are no common goals. Raising the entrepreneurial spirit and skill levels of the ELME partners is a necessary and powerful factor for mutual success.

Most of ELME’s members are internationally focussed. They have spent many years developing their competences in both the Finnish and international arenas. ELME’s expert exchange continues to grow and improve all the time, with many international researchers and students coming to Finland and Finnish researchers and students traveling abroad.
